Drupe Engineering builds the CNC structural cutters, H-beam welding systems, long-span handling gantries and assembly automation that let PEB shops hit that commitment without dropping weld quality on primary members or geometry on connections.

1. CNC Structural Cutting (Bevel, Profile, Hole)
Plasma and oxy-fuel cutting stations covering 0.5 mm to 300 mm thickness, with bevel prep, profile cutting and hole cutting on structural sections in a single pass. Plasma sources from Hypertherm, Kjellberg and Thermacut, built for column, rafter, purlin and gusset prep at the volumes PEB fabrication needs.

2. H-Beam & Built-Up Section Welding
Robotic and semi-automated welding systems for primary beam fabrication, including web-to-flange fillet welding on built-up H-sections and I-sections. Compatible with KUKA, Yaskawa, Fanuc, ABB and Kawasaki, running MIG, SAW and TIG. Holds ±0.02 mm repeatability across the full beam length.

3. Long-Span Gantry & Handling Systems
Long-reach gantries with strokes up to 10,000 mm for handling and welding beams, columns and rafters that don’t fit in a fixed-station cell. Moves long members between cutting, welding and assembly bays without manual lifting or crane wait times.

4. End Plate, Splice & Connection Assembly
Special purpose machines and robotic cells built for end plate welding, splice plate attachment and gusset welding on column-rafter connections. Speeds up to 2500 mm/sec on precision transfers, holding tolerance on the joints that hold the building together.
