Robot linear tracks that carry a six-axis robot along the work, and single, two and three-axis gantries that move parts overhead. Payloads from 20 kg to 5 tonnes, travel to 2 m/s and delivered runs up to 100 m.
A six-axis robot reaches about 2 to 3 metres from its base. The parts it is bought for are longer: PEB rafters, wagon bodies, vessel shells, a row of CNC machines. The usual fix is a second robot, a second operator or a crane. A linear axis does the job with the robot you already have, or with no robot at all.
The range covers robot linear tracks that run as the robot's seventh axis, and single, two and three-axis gantries that move a gripper or tool overhead. All of them run on one rack-and-pinion platform, built in modular sections to the length your layout needs.

Configurations are ordered by capability. Select by the material and operation required, then confirm the cutting envelope on the machine page.

Structural work lives or dies on how parts arrive at fit-up. Profiling and weld preparation in the same programme means thick plate and long sections reach the welder square and prepared, without a grinding queue between operations.
– Gantry spans to 3000 x 12,000 mm, widths to 5000 mm
– Oxy-fuel and plasma on one bridge for mixed plate thickness
– V, X, Y and K preparations cut with the profile, not after it

PEB is a volume business with thin margins, where the gain is in throughput and in how little handling a part needs between the plate and the shed. Straight profiling, fast, repeatably, with the nest doing the work.
– Rapid traverse 12,000 mm/min, configurable to 18,000 on the SET Series
– Automatic contour nesting with sheet scrap management
– Entry table machines from 1500 x 3000 mm for lighter gauge work

Process piping is dominated by branch connections, and every saddle cut by hand is a fit-up gap waiting to be filled with weld metal. Offline 3D profiling produces the intersection geometry from the model, so the saddle lands where the drawing says it does.
– Pipe from 6 to 72 inch diameter, 3 to 50 mm wall, up to 12 tons
– Saddles, holes, end cuts and bevels to 60 degrees in a single setup
– AlmaCAM and 3D pipe profiling, with powered automatic chuck holding

Vessel work is inspected work. Shell plate, heads and nozzle openings all have to carry a prepared edge that an inspector will accept, and a cut that can be traced back to the programme that produced it.
– Nozzle and manway openings cut with the bevel in the same cycle
– Full 3D machining of profiled material including torispherical heads
– Workpiece position detection and correction before the cut starts

Wagon and coach building is repetition work. The cost sits in how consistently the thousandth part matches the first, which is a question about the control and the drive, not about the torch.
– Long-bed configurations to 12,000 mm for underframe and sidewall sections
– Dual-drive rack and pinion holding squareness across the full span
– Marking and labelling in the same programme, so parts reach assembly identified

Hull blocks are large, heavy and awkward, and the parts that make them are cut in high volume with preparations that vary across a single plate. Material utilisation matters as much as speed.
– Plate to 3000 x 12,000 mm, nested from your DXF with remnant management
– Variable bevel angles across a single part for butt and fillet preparation
– Last position retained through a power failure, so a long cut resumes rather than restarts

Every Drupe project starts with your part and your problem, gets engineered to your floor and cycle time, then commissioned on site and supported for the life of the machine. Tell us what you need to build.
(TBD) The answer depends on the process and the power source rather than on the machine. Plasma capacity is set by the rating of the Hypertherm or Kjellberg source fitted, and oxy-fuel capacity by the nozzle and gas selection. Both torches are available on the same bridge, which is why most shops specify one gas and one plasma station as standard and run each at the end of the range it suits.
Send us the thickest and thinnest plate in your mix and we will specify the process and the source against it.
Yes. The PLUBE Series is a double-drive gantry working a plate table and a chuck in the same installation, with a movable idler for long sections. Chuck capacity is Ø250 to 2000 mm.
It suits shops where floor space is the constraint and neither plate nor pipe volume alone justifies a dedicated machine. The trade-off is scheduling: the bridge serves one station at a time, so a shop running both at high volume is better served by two machines.
Bevelling units can be fitted to either station.
On pipe and tube, up to 60 degrees, on a seven-axis servo machine. End cuts, saddle cuts at 45 and 90 degrees and branch intersections are all produced from the same setup.
On plate, the control supports bevel units of differing kinematics, including oxy-fuel bevelling units with lateral adjustment, and will produce V, X, Y and K preparations within the same programme as the profile. It also handles full 3D machining on profiled material such as rectangular section, H-beam and torispherical heads.
AlmaCAM, Lantek, SigmaNest and TurboNest are all supported, specified at order against what your drawing office already uses.
For pipe and tube, AlmaCAM provide offline 3D profiling: the CAM module produces the cutting contour from a few parameters entered into a preset mask, with dimensioned contours in 3D. For plate, the nesting software imports geometry in several formats, nests contours automatically and manages sheet remnant.
The control itself handles automatic detection and correction of workpiece position, measurement of remnant contours, and workpiece identification by bar code, matrix code or OCR.
Seven to eight weeks ex-works for a standard configuration.
That covers the standard cutting widths and lengths with one gas and one plasma station. What extends it is non-standard spans, additional torch stations, bevelling units, and plasma power sources on import lead time, which sit outside our control.
Installation, commissioning and operator training on site follow delivery. Tell us your required date at enquiry stage and we will confirm against current load before quoting.
